Delete your account

You can delete your account and its personal data at any time, free of charge, from inside the app or by email.

Delete in the app (fastest)

Open the app and tap the Profile tab.
In the Account section, tap Delete Account.
Type DELETE in the box and tap Delete My Account.
Confirm with Delete Forever.

Your account is deactivated and you are signed out at once; you can no longer sign in to it.

Delete by email

If you cannot use the app, email info@theastronova.com from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my Astro Nova account”. A person handles these requests: we check that the email comes from the account’s address, acknowledge it within 24 hours and mark the account for deletion within 15 days. The same erasure as for in-app deletion then follows.

When it is erased

A daily job at 02:00 UTC erases a deleted account, normally on its first run after 30 days have passed since the deletion request (if a step fails, the job retries the next day).

What is erased

Your profile: name, email address and birth details.
Your sign-in identity at Clerk, our sign-in provider.
Your saved charts and chart calculations, daily readings, tarot pulls and compatibility checks.
Your AI chat conversations, and your reports of AI answers.
Your bookmarks, streaks and achievements.
Your settings, push token and notification preferences, and any subscription record.

What is kept

Analytics and crash reports already sent to PostHog and Sentry, and Cloudflare request logs, which expire on those providers’ own schedules.
Any purchase records held by Apple or Google under their own rules (this version sells nothing).
Our emails with you about the request, for as long as the law requires.

Delete only some data

To erase only part of your data, for example your AI conversations, without closing your account, email us and say what to erase.

Changed your mind?

A deletion cannot be undone from inside the app. To stop it, email info@theastronova.com before the 30 days pass. Once the data is erased it cannot be recovered.

Store subscriptions

This version sells nothing. If you ever buy a subscription through the App Store or Google Play, deleting your account does not cancel it: cancel it in the store (iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions; Android: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions).
